Laura A. Gray is the CEO of TGG Venture. She is an Executive with over 18 years of experience in the public and private sector. She has a passion for Private Equity, Politics, Impact-Driven Investment, Female Founders, and People. As the founder of TGG Venture, Laura is dedicated to fostering impactful collaborations that address critical socio-political and economic challenges. By bridging international relations, social impact, strategic partnerships & capital access, she empowers businesses to scale innovative solutions that drive meaningful, lasting change.
She is a global connector who is adept at advancing strategic relationships for the benefit of her clients and the advancement of their companies. Her passion lies in the development of business relationships, growth and expansion that overlap with impact investing.
Laura is a master of forging transformative strategic partnerships, cultivating capital alliances, and driving investor relations. With a sharp focus on corporate communications and narrative-building, she excels at guiding companies through high-stakes growth, delivering results that include multimillion-dollar private equity transactions. Laura’s exceptional ability to align business goals with influential decision-makers has consistently led to game-changing capital raises, market expansions, and long-term, profitable partnerships. This has fallen under the umbrella of acting as the Interim-Chief Relationship Officer for her clients.
As the Co-Founder & Partner at Holstein | Gray, Laura seamlessly integrated government relations with private equity strategies, bridging complex needs for clients in both the USA and Canada. She cultivated an extraordinary, trusted network that spans US Government Representatives—including senior figures in the 1st Trump Administration (2017-2021)—senior corporate leaders, HNW & UHNW investors, family offices, private equity firms, and even an Ambassador to a Latin American country. This network continues to drive success and open doors for transformative opportunities.
In her role as Partner & Chief Relationship Officer at a leading Canadian multi-family office, Laura worked closely with ultra-high-net-worth clients, managing assets exceeding $150 million. Her strategic counsel created bespoke partnerships that aligned with clients’ private equity, succession planning, and legacy goals, positioning them for long-term success and impact.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Laura is an advocate for social justice and policy. She serves as the 2nd Vice President and Board Member of the National Council of Women – Ottawa Chapter, championing initiatives that drive meaningful impact in her community and beyond.
Her passion lies in working with companies that are creating a tangible impact on the world and investors that believe in the importance of impact investment. Through this core belief, she founded TGG Ventures to bring that vision into focus.
She holds a BA in Political Science (Acadia University) and an MA in International Policy & Diplomacy (Staffordshire University).
